Dental insurance is not a company provided benefit for BMDA employees. That is why the BMDA joined the Union Workers Benefit Trust (UWBT) to offer dental benefits. The UWBT has been offering and administering additional benefits for our Sisters and Brothers in Local S6 and Local S7 for over 20 years. The three options of coverage are as follows:

• Members Only
• Member Plus One (1)
• Member Plus Two (2) or More

New employees can get access to this benefit right away, but they must sign up for the benefit within 30 days, otherwise the normal enrollment period is August 15th through September 30th.

The dental insurance plan is through Delta Dental and details are provided in the attachments below.
