New York: Picket for the Delivery Protection Act

In New York, Amazon’s delivery operations have created dangerous streets and unsafe conditions for workers. But because they hire fake subcontractors to handle the risks of last-mile delivery—the last leg of the process that gets a package to your door—their hands are clean. 

UAW Region 9A and other unions have called on the City Council to put the Delivery Protection Act to a vote! With 32 City Council co-sponsors we have the momentum to pass this bill and force Amazon to hire their employees directly so workers can win stronger accountability and job protections.
