Fighting for Unemployment Benefits for Striking Workers in Connecticut

UAW Local 405 President and Vice Chair of UAW’s Connecticut CAP Council Ben Wilcox testified in front of the Connecticut General Assembly Labor Committee yesterday about the importance of securing unemployment benefits for striking workers. “It would enable our members to win the contracts they deserve and be offered them before a strike becomes necessary,” he said.
