Recapping Our 2024 New York CAP Lobbying Conference

This week, 125 members from across Regions 9 and 9A convened in Albany for a successful lobbying conference. Our members met with over 100 legislators, had over 20 champion legislators join us for a rally on the Million Dollar Staircase, and forged ties on our priorities with Region 9.

One highlight of the week in Albany was our Student Loan Forgiveness for Legal Service Workers bill passing in the New York State Senate while our members watched from the gallery! We continue to fight for our full agenda, and since our lobby visits we have already received 30 new cosponsors on our priorities.
