New Organizing from New England to New York This Spring

Already this spring, hundreds of workers have voted or will soon vote to join the UAW here in Region 9A.
Earlier this month, the Newbury Comics Warehouse Union in Boston announced after a delay in the vote count that they won their election to join UAW Local 1596!

UMass Chan postdocs and graduate workers filed last week with the Massachusetts Department of Labor with more than 70% support to unionize.
From April 3 to 5, workers at the South Street Seaport Museum will vote on becoming the latest museum staff to join UAW Local 2110.
On April 9 and 10, the Researchers Organizing Committee at Sinai (ROCS-UAW) representing senior researchers has their official union election.
Starting April 15, the School of Visual Arts Faculty United will also begin voting in their union election, with results expected in late May.
Welcome to all of our newest UAW members—thank you for joining us in the fight for economic and social justice!
