Local 664 Retirees Commemorate 30th Anniversary of Tarrytown Plant Closure

This month, UAW Local 664’s retiree chapter representing the retirees of the North Tarrytown General Motors plant met to commemorate the 30th anniversary of their plant closure.

Joined by Connecticut State Senator and former Region 9A Director Julie Kushner along with Region 9A Director Brandon Mancilla, members honored being together and our retirees’ commitments to building the UAW. We also stood firm that we need to continue our fight to end plant closures that decimate working class livelihoods and communities across the U.S.
