Local 4100 Announces Amalgamation of Columbia and Sinai Postdocs

After a membership vote in January, the UAW International Executive Board approved the amalgamation of Local 4100, which now represents postdoctoral workers at Columbia and Mount Sinai in New York City. As a result, the Columbia Postdoctoral Workers and the Sinai Postdoctoral Organizing Committee will be one local, building one big union for scientists, researchers, and academic workers across New York City.
