A work-in is a non-disruptive, community-building action—bring your laptop, research, grading studying for finals, whatever! We’ll work together in one visible place, showing the university that we’re organized, determined, and not backing down from our goal of winning a fair contract.
Our contract negotiations are starting to talk about economics, like stipends, fees, housing, healthcare and parking. We expect pushback at the bargaining table for these topics so we need to show solidarity now more than ever. Working all together in one place is a great way to show how strong we are! Visibility is power!
