New Organizing Committee Meeting

In 2023, only 10% of workers in the United States belonged to a union. Yet a majority of Americans support unionization in their own workplace. We have an opportunity to organize at an unprecedented pace and breadth—and to grow our power and win record contracts, we must do just that.

UAW Region 9A’s Organizing Committee is piloting a new intake system for workers interested in organizing a UAW union at their workplace. Any UAW member in Region 9A can join our committee and volunteer as an intake organizer. Intake organizers will be the first point of contact for workers who want to organize a union with us and complete the new organizing form.
