On Wednesday, 2/19, hundreds of academic workers and UAW Region 9A members rallied in Boston and New York City as part of a nationwide day of action to defend against the Trump administration's attacks on public research funding. Postdocs, graduate researchers, faculty, and allies then marched to nearby protests to show solidarity with federal workers saying NO to Elon Musk's gutting of federal services.
The fight doesn't end here. Next Tuesday, February 25, higher ed workers across the country will bring their energy to DC in a national press conference and virtual phone bank.
