March to Protect Our Futures
In the face of the devastating election results, it is now up to us—immigrants, working class people, women, the TGNCIQ+ community, and allies—to protect our futures. The work we do now has taken on a level of importance like no other moment in history.
Donald Trump made racism, transphobia, misogyny, and xenophobia the centerpiece of his campaign. We are clear-eyed about the danger posed by a second Trump administration, and we are ready to stand shoulder-to-shoulder to fight back against his dangerous policies. New York has a crucial role to play in setting the tone for the next four years. It is critical to make it clear that New Yorkers will continue to stand together, in community, to protect the most vulnerable.
That’s why, along with dozens of leading allied organizations in New York, we are taking the streets this Saturday, November 9th at 12 PM for a mass rally and march at Columbus Circle to say loud and clear: PROTECT OUR FREEDOMS, OUR FAMILIES, OUR FUTURES.
