All are welcome to a discussion on the role of the labor movement in defending immigrant rights. Presenters will include Bhairavi Desai, President of the Taxi Workers Alliance, Brandon Mancilla, Director of Region 9A of the UAW, and Ligia Guallpa, Executive Director of the Workers Justice Project. Beyond the presentations, the discussion, with audience participation, will focus on concrete actions the labor movement and allies can undertake to address the present crises.
