Our Local Union

Local 2324 is one of over 600 UAW local unions across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Local unions hold regular membership meetings, elect members to leadership positions, and establish our own local union bylaws, subject to the UAW Constitution. Our contracts and bylaws are viewable in our Contract Archive and Bylaws Archive.

UAW Constitution

The UAW Constitution is the highest law of our Union. It has been adopted, and can be amended, only by a majority vote of the delegates at Constitutional Conventions that happen every four years or Special Conventions.

The Constitution provides a strong foundation to support the union’s day-to-day work and sets forth the rights, guarantees and responsibilities of all UAW members.

Weingarten Rights

Your Weingarten rights are a powerful tool to have on hand whenever management is questioning you and you believe the answers to your questions may lead to discipline or affect your working conditions.
