Region 9A Political Leadership Conference

On September 12 and 13, UAW Region 9A political leaders will gather in New York City to strategize, plan, and collaborate on proactively building out regional campaigns, finalizing our plan for the 2025 election, and lining ourselves up to win more in 2025 and beyond!

We will be joined by UAW champion political leaders and will be engaging in difficult, strategic conversations, that will guide our work going forward. Topics of discussion will include Abortion Rights, Debt Cancellation, Internationalism, Fighting for All Workers, Political Support to Win Strikes, Politics to Support New Organizing, and more. Together, we will be prepared as a region to defeat Donald Trump and fight for our future!

 As we shared in the save the date, we would like you to think of rising leaders in your local—whether rank-and-file members, shop stewards, unit chairs, or activists—as people who can attend. The registration fee for the conference is $250, but we will also be subsidizing members via our CAP Councils.
