If you are a MDA-UAW Local 571 Retiree and do not receive our monthly luncheon notices, please contact the MDA-UAW Local 571 Union Office at 860-448-0552 and ask to be put on our mailing list.  Monthly retiree lunches are a popular event for our retirees and for many still working at EB.  It’s an event many look forward to attending when they retire.  While we provide a wonderful luncheon each month, it also provides the means for our retirees to gather once a month with old friends and new (in most cases, our members who retire during the year are members the retirees alreadyknow from whenthey were working. 

Also, each month, there is usually a new face or two at the luncheons and always a pleasant surprise for the retirees.  We also share current events, during the meeting, with the retirees at each luncheon as well as all the events we do throughout the year.

The retiree lunches are typically held on the 2nd Thursday of each month and are at a different restaurant in the area, including two in Rhode Island.  The retiree luncheon schedule for the year has been completed, is included on the monthly memos going forward and is available on our website.

A big thank you to those who work behind the scenes of the retiree lunches to make them a success.  The Retiree Committee consists of 3 retirees, Ron Arner, Dan Hall and Judy Page.  Assisting them are their wives, Helen Arner and Karen Hall.  These folks volunteer their time to this and do an amazing job each month.
