Your bargaining team has delivered a major improvement for members working with CWQM programming. The Company’s original position was simple and extremely limited: $2.00/hour for one (1) piece of equipment—that was it.

Through persistent pushbacks and clear justification from our skilled workforce, the Union secured a far broader and more equitable system.

What We Won:

1. A full $2.00/hour skill adder for advanced CWQM programming on four high level machines:

  • Zeiss CMM
  • Renishaw Equator
  • Bruker Alicona
  • Zeiss Rondcom

2. A new $1.00/hour skill adder for additional CWQM related equipment:

  • Romer Arm
  • Mahr UD130 Contour Reader
  • Keyence IM6225

3. A guaranteed maximum of $2.00/hour, protecting the integrity of the incentive while expanding eligibility.

4. A commitment that any new equipment will be evaluated for future skill adders ensuring the program grows with the technology.

This LOU/MOU recognizes the real value of the advanced work our members perform. It expands eligibility, increases fairness, and ensures more workers can earn more money for the skills they bring to the job every day.

This is exactly what strong and active union representation looks like: turning a narrow company proposal into a broader, member-focused win.
