Karina Whitaker

Karina is a second generation Foxwoods dealer on swing shift and was elected as a Trustee in May 2019.  She stepped up as Head Trustee after the pandemic reopening in 2020.  She recently was elected as Financial Secretary/Treasurer in May of 2022.

She originally became involved with the initial organizing of the Foxwoods Local back in 2007.

She has been a swing shift steward from the beginning of the Local to present.

She has been a member of the Election Committee, Organizing Committee, Education Committee, Women's Committee, Bylaw Committee, LUCA, and Bargaining Committee (2019-present).

She is an active member of the Region 9A Women's Committee, and has been both the Area 1 Chair and the Area 1 Recording Secretary.
